Plant-Based Mutts began with Maggie, our beloved French Bulldog — and now, our little mascot. 💛
From the moment she joined the family, Maggie struggled with constant allergies, skin flare-ups, and digestive problems — all traced back to animal proteins in her diet. After years of vet visits and countless failed foods, we made the switch to a fully plant-based diet.
The transformation was incredible. Her coat shone, her energy returned, and she went on to live a long, happy life — powered entirely by plants. And while her Frenchie farts didn’t disappear completely, they became far less... lethal! 💨🐶
Maggie inspired us to create honest, wholesome treats made with simple, plant-based ingredients — no hidden fillers, no confusing labels, and nothing that doesn’t belong in a dog bowl.
But our mission doesn’t stop at the treat jar. 🌎
Traditional animal-protein dog foods are a major source of CO₂ emissions and environmental strain, with meat production being one of the planet’s biggest polluters. By creating delicious, nutrient-rich, plant-powered treats, we’re helping to reduce that impact — one wagging tail at a time.
We use dehydration instead of heavy preservatives to keep our treats fresh naturally, extending shelf life and reducing waste.
Today, Plant-Based Mutts is more than a brand — it’s a mission inspired by one small, snorty, beautiful French Bulldog who proved that dogs can thrive on kindness, clarity, and conscious choices.
